Dungeons & Dragons

Ah, Dungeons and Dragons. I can still remember entering my first dungeon with my brother on his twelfth birthday. My character's name was Randolf Gam (Gam after a character in a television show. Randolf because it was the first name to come to mind when I realized he should have two names. Give me a break, I was six.) and I forget what level he was when I retired him some six years later.

Both the game and I have come a long way since those days. We now stand on the verge of the third edition of the game (which is actually, what, the sixth version, when you consider the various forms that have been published?), and I'm looking forward to it.

I also have some house rules from my last second edition campaign. It's funny, but one of the thoughts that finally got me motivated to assemble my web site was that I could post my campaign notes and house rules (all 2nd Ed) for my group. Alas, the campaign is dead, but the legacy lives on. I may post the rest of them at some point, but here are a couple:
