So, a couple of years ago I serialized two short novels for my newsletter. I had to stop that because turning out a weekly newsletter was … rough. (If you’re curious, my newsletter readers get a free short story each month)

I have to admit, though, I kind of missed doing a serial. I wanted to do it again. The question was, how.

I thought about doing it through my Patreon, but I didn’t really structure for it. Plus, with the release schedule I have in mind, I wasn’t sure how well I could pull it off, and still get done the rest of the things I need to do on an ongoing basis.

You know, things like writing more stories.

So I thought I’d give it a try here, and see how things go. If it does pretty well for me, I might start serializing more of my novels this way.

Thus, you will soon be able to read my novel Portal-Land, Oregon, here on my blog. First chapter goes up tomorrow, and then new chapters every other day for the next two months.
